Bush School – Virtual Excursion (Preschool/Early Childhood)
Join our Bush School and let your children connect to Australia’s unique natural environment.
Bush School is a nature play program led by our expert team of education rangers. It inspires love for the natural world through stories, games, and bushcraft activities.
Learn more about the importance of children’s nature play by watching our video.
Join us for half an hour of storytelling and engaging nature activities that will give your children the opportunity to connect to the outdoors wherever you are.
We supply a list of suggested pre- and post-session activities that can be used to build your child’s connection to nature and they can experience away from the screen.
Session themes are:
Bats – Big and Small and why we need them
Wanda the Wallaby and her Wonderful World of Smells
Get tracking – Find signs of wild animals in your outdoor space
The Great Whale Migration – When the wattle blooms, the whales are on the move!
FREE ACCESS Centennial Parklands Foundation covers the costs for schools with an FOEI over 120 or for organisations looking after disadvantaged community groups. Please contact us directly through [email protected]
