Join the T4L team for this inspiring session exploring Indigenous storytelling and community.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Students will explore how to connect with elders in their school community and create a digital Acknowledgement of Country. Students will also explore how to connect with country using language, imagery and story as well as investigating creating digital texts for their community.
In this session, students will explore:
- What connecting to country looks and sounds like
- Writing ideas around connecting to country
- How to create a digital Acknowledgement of Country for your school’s community
- Great tech tools to support students with their writing
