Book Week 2021: Libby Hathorn and Lisa Hathorn-Jarman author talk

This is a virtual excursion for Stage ES1 and Stage 1 students
Join celebrated children’s author Libby Hathorn and her daughter, Lisa Hathorn-Jarman, as they share the hilarious tale of a feisty child and her perplexed parents from their CBCA award winning picture book, No Never. Libby and Lisa will discuss the real-life inspiration behind this story and help students to create a sizzling starter for their own stories. This author workshop is full of tips and tricks to improve students’ writing and inspire creativity.
Learning from home
Students can connect to our virtual excursions when learning from home. As a teacher, you will only need to register once to receive a link you can share with your students.
During the session, students will be able to ask questions by writing in the chat and they will not share any audio or video. All messages will be visible to the presenters but not to any other students.
When students use the link to join the virtual excursion they may be asked to download Zoom if they don’t already have it installed. They do not need to set up a Zoom account to participate.
