Be a Designer: Costumes & Hats

Explore the world of design by learning how to draw and paint costumes and fancy hats inspired by the Library’s collection of costume designs, including some by May Gibbs!
Suitable for children aged 8-12 yrs.
You will need:
Lead pencil, watercolour paints (or any paints or coloured pencils), brushes, water, paper towel and thick paper (watercolour paper is best, or you can use a recycled cereal box with light coloured cardboard inside.) You will also need scrap paper (like used photocopy paper) the same size as your thick paper.
