A virtual week in Canberra – Exploring the Australian War Memorial

Explore a site of national significance from your classroom or home. This 45 minute live program takes students through the galleries and Commemorative Area, to examine objects, art works, photographs, and records that hold stories of men and women who have served for Australia. There will be an additional 15 minutes available at the end for questions and answers.

In the event of technical difficulties which may impact the quality of the program, the Memorial reserves the right to stop the virtual excursion. While all efforts will be made to reschedule, a new program time cannot be guaranteed.

Attendees will need reliable internet connection to join Zoom and a device.
Participants will receive a Zoom link once their booking has been processed. This link will also be made available on 1 September here: A virtual week in Canberra – Exploring the Australian War Memorial – DART Learning
10,000 participants will be able to access the Zoom room. Additional participants will be directed to a YouTube live link. Each platform will allow students to view the same program, but please note that poll and question and answer functions are unavailable via YouTube.
