A Virtual Week in Canberra 2022 – Art in Focus (Stage 3)

Learn about some of the most well known works of art in the National Gallery’s collection.


ACTIVITY OUTLINE:

Learn about Jackson Pollock’s painting Blue poles 1952 to Emily Kame Kngwarreye’s The Alhalkere Suite 1993 and Urs Fischer’s Francesco 2017, this program is lead by the National Gallery of Australia’s Lead Artist Educators who will share with participants videos and interactive activities that focus on the role and importance of art and artists in our society.

Students can connect to our virtual excursions when learning from home. As a teacher, you will only need to register once to receive a link you can share with your students.
