A Virtual Week in Canberra 2023 – The Money Makers at the Royal Australian Mint (Stage 3)

Have you ever wondered who makes Australia’s coins? Join us as we explore the exciting jobs at the Royal Australian Mint and discover if you have what it takes to be a Money Maker!
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Every single coin made takes a lot of people with special skills, including designers, engineers, technicians, packers, and more! In this hour-long program, we’ll learn about the many jobs needed to take a small piece of metal and turn it into a coin that you spend, save, donate, or collect!
We’ll meet some of the people that do these jobs and find out how they became Money Makers.
You might discover that you have the skills to become a Money Maker too!
You will need to view the session before midnight Friday September 22nd.
