ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
Students explore Australian culture, identity and creativity with an amazing selection of portraits from our permanent collection.
Visual Arts | Year 5 – Year 6
- Explore ideas and practices used by artists, including practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, to represent different views, beliefs and opinions
- Develop and apply techniques and processes when making their artworks. Please have drawing material/tools ready for each participant!
- Explain how visual arts conventions communicate meaning by comparing artworks from different social, cultural and historical contexts, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artworks
You will need to view the session before midnight Friday September 22nd.
