A Virtual Week in Canberra 2023 – Australian War Memorial: Stories from the Vietnam War (Stage 3)

This live program takes students through the Memorial’s galleries and Commemorative Area.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the end of Australia’s involvement in the Vietnam War. Using artworks, objects and records, discover stories of Australians who served from 1962 to 1973. Explore how and why we remember at this national site of commemoration.
We welcome any questions that your students may have on this theme prior to the webinar, as educators will endeavour to answer these during the program. Please email any questions to [email protected]
