A Virtual Week in Canberra 2022 – People Power and Making Change (Stage 3)

Explore historical spaces in Old Parliament House including the two chambers of Parliament, and consider how we can all contribute to our democracy and make a positive difference.
ACTIVITY OUTLINE:
During this special event students will,
- visits historical spaces in the building including the House of Representatives and Senate Chamber, as well as the Prime Minster’s Suite
- learn about historical events and significant people
- actively participate in discussions around how they can make a difference
- explore their rights and responsibilities within our democracy
